My Story
I’m Dr. Alli, a veterinarian, mom of four, and lifelong animal lover. My family and I recently began an exciting new chapter here in Wisconsin. We just moved to a 7-acre property this fall, and have started transforming it into a farmette.. Life is busy, chaotic, and wonderfully full as we dive into this new adventure, balancing animal care, family life, and our growing hobby farm.

My passion for animals started young, inspired by my grandfather, who was also a veterinarian. Growing up in the Midwest surrounded by creatures of all sizes, I developed a deep love for caring for animals. That passion eventually led me to veterinary medicine, where I’ve spent over a decade blending traditional care with integrative approaches like nutrition, supplements, and acupuncture to help pets thrive. Whether it’s managing mobility issues, improving nutrition, or crafting individualized care plans, my goal is to make a meaningful difference for pets and their families.

At home, our family life is just as lively. My husband and I are raising four wonderful daughters—Avery (6), Hayden (5), Noa (3), and Ryleigh (1)—alongside a small but growing menagerie. We share our home with two energetic dogs (Indie and Booker), two playful rats (Bean and Beckett), and a tortoise named Hustle. This spring, we’re adding chicks to the mix as we continue making this our home,, complete with gardens, animals, and endless learning opportunities.

We’re excited to share updates from our farmette journey, as well as practical pet care tips, hobby farm inspiration, and insights from my veterinary experience. Life isn’t perfect (and it’s definitely messy), but it’s a joy to embrace every moment. Whether you’re a fellow animal lover, hobby farmer, or just curious about life on the farm, we’d love to connect with you. Stay tuned for updates—and if you’re a seasoned chicken steward, I’d love to hear your advice as we prepare for our new flock this spring!
